Postcards from Jalan Jalan In The Park

The 'Jalan Jalan in the Park' collection was launched in 2019 by Nala Designs, a lifestyle brand that specialises in patterns inspired by Asian culture and heritage. The collection's inspiration drew from the flowering trees growing at the Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur. During an ongoing internship, I worked under the direction of Creative Director Lisette Scheers, to create a trilogy of postcards featuring a selection of flowers. With visual cues taken from vintage botanical plates, I designed and illustrated the Cannonball Tree, the Yellow Flame of the Forest and the Heaven Lotus. The postcards would be an exclusive gift with purchase and interior shop poster in the Nala Design stores at CENTRAL Thailand.
